This is Tim’s Civic Type R N1 Race Car, sadly it is currently for sale. But Tim promises he will be back faster and better than ever.
As you can see there is a substantial amount of body work done to this car, all to aid the handling on the track. The front splitter you see there is actually made from Plywood, it may seem a strange thing to make it from but its cheap and easy to make them and thats important when it hangs so low.
More importantly, it actually works. Tim has actually ripped the front bumper off from the downforce the splitter creates
From the back you can see the “ricer” wing and rear diffuser.
The wheels Tim runs are 17×8″ +35. Bolt on flares were needed to make them fit along with some “massaging” to the inner guards
You can see the side exit exhaust here, it was trialed for a while and made one hell of a noise. Could here it at the complete opposite end of the track!
